South African and German delegations have been nominated

South African national team, among them the 16-year-old new single champion Lenize Potgieter. The two team captains Heleen Potgieter and Bertus le Roux as well as three other players took part in the 1st World Cup in India. As part of their preparation for the upcoming 2nd Wold Cup, Team South Africa have even announced their own physiotherapist.

The home team Germany was chosen by Team Coach Mario Müller (47) on 24th April. Nine of the twelve athletes are World-Cup-experienced players. The team of the title holder appointed Melanie Böttcher and Maximilian Speicher as their new team captains. The training and qualification for the World Cup in Koblenz began in December 2008 and encompassed 20 events like trials and ranking list tournaments.
